Psi is a free instant messaging application for desktop PC computers (Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux) that enables chat connection with the services that use open XMPP network.
This global XMPP network is today supported by many popular chat services such as Google Talk, LiveJournal, and Portugal Telecom, with many more adding their support as the time goes by. Users of Psi can easily connect to XMPP and chat with other members of this protocol.
